The Pogues

Once upon a time a succesful British band came to Almería to act in a psychotronic western directed by their friend Alex Cox. The film was called "Straight To Hell" and the band was The Pogues. Once here they decided to spend some holiday weeks in Almeria and they got crazy with the climate, the beach, the food, the bars, the night... but what made them freak out completely was Almeria's Fair. When they went back to England, they wrote a song about their Almeria experience and it became their most successful hit. Here you are The Pogues and their psychedelic Almeria experience.
