***AC/DC***
Hello
Now I´m going to talk about my favourite group, AC/DC.
AC/DC is Australian and was formed in 1973 by brothers Angus and Malcom Young. Although the band are commonly classified as Hard rock, they are considered the pioneer of heavy metal. AC/DC is fourth in the ranking of best bands of hard rock in the world
The name of the group have a lot of interpretations but the correct is AC/DC = Alternating current/ Direct current. The brothers felt that this name symbolised the band's raw energy, power-driven performances, and a love for their music. The people used to talk that AC/DC is AntiChrist/Demon Cry, it´s very funny the imagination of the people although it´s incorrect.

I think that the band have change too much, but majority have been bass and drums, although they also change of vocalist, first was Dave Evans but he leave in 1974 with arrival of Bon Scott that died on 19 February 1980 by Pulmonary aspiration of vomit was the cause of Scott's death, and the official cause was listed as "acute alcohol poisoning" and "death by misadventure”. Later Brian Johnson join between April 1980-May 1983, I prefer Bon Scott because for me had something especial, a talent inborn.

AC/DC has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide, including 71 million albums in the United States. Back in Black has sold an estimated 45 million units worldwide and 22 million in the United States alone, where it is the fifth highest-selling album it´sr eally crazy, but for me AC/DC deserve it. I like a some cd´s, although my preferer disc is Highway to hell because sing Bon Scott and the song “Touch too much” is the best song in Highway to hell.
Recognition
AC/DC were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in March 2003. He described the band's power chords as "the thunder from down under that gives you the second-most-powerful surge that can flow through your body.
In May 2003, Malcolm Young accepted a Ted Albert Award for Outstanding Service to Australian Music at the 2003 Music Winners Awards, during which he paid special tribute to Bon Scott.
Since Nielsen SoundScan began to track music sales in 1991, AC/DC has sold over 26.4 million albums, making their sales figures second only to The Beatles, outselling both The Rolling Stones and The Who. Over the last five years, as CD sales have declined in general, AC/DC albums have sold just as well or better. They sold over 1.3 million CDs in the United States during 2007 despite not having released a new album since 2001 at that point.
In 2005, the Recording Industry Association of America upgraded the group's US sales figures from 63 million to 69 million, making AC/DC the fifth-best-selling band in US history and the tenth best selling artist, selling more albums than Madonna, Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson. The RIAA also certified Back in Black as double Diamond (twenty million) in US sales, and by 2007 the album had sold 22 million copies, which moved it into fifth place.
This wikiprojects is a misery because the history of AC/DC is longer than 3 or 4 paragraphs lines and haven´t be write completely.

I think that Brian Johnson was the best replacement for Bon Scott.
